Finding Discord IDs

How to Enable Developer Mode

• Open Discord and head to User Settings
• Navigate to the Advanced page, and toggle the Developer Mode to be On

For the following, developer mode must be enabled.

How to...

• find a discord guild (server) ID

  • Locate the server you want the ID of
  • Right click the server icon
  • Click "Copy ID" at the bottom of the list.

• find a discord user ID

  • Locate the user you want the ID of (this can be yourself)
  • Right click the user's name
  • Click "Copy ID" at the bottom of the list.

• find a discord role ID

  • Head to the Server Settings
  • Navigate to the Roles page
  • Right click the role name that you want the ID of
  • Click "Copy Role ID" at the bottom of the list.

• find a discord channel ID

  • Locate the channel that you want the ID of
  • Right click the channel name
  • Click "Copy ID" at the bottom of the list.

• find a discord thread ID

  • Locate the thread you want to ID of
  • Right click the thread name
  • Click "Copy ID" at the bottom of the list.

• find a discord message ID

This process is the same for Discord Servers, Group Chats, and Direct Messages.

  • Right click the message
  • Click "Copy ID" at the bottom of the list.

• find a discord event ID

  • Click the “Events” button to see the events.
  • Right click the event that you want the id of.
  • Click "Copy ID" at the bottom of the list.
